God is very much pleased when we accept what- ever He allows. You didn’t expect at all something that happened. Let it be blessed! You expected for something else to happen that didn’t. Let it be blessed! One thing or another happened at a time you had least expected them, and you need to give yourself up and surrender to what God now allows. Place yourself in the hands of God. If this is how you do, God can trust you.

Christ is outside our soul

You should believe that the truth is this: “That’s the end of the matter, Christ is outside our soul and knocks to get inside. And I act as if I don’t want to hear him, as if I don’t want Him to come in. Oh my goodness, there is such perversion in me!” Repeat these words not only today but also to- morrow and the day after –and many times indeed– so that you finally humble yourself.
