The fulfiller of dreams

The Lord occupied me with a small Psalm that conveys the word of God.. This Psalm may seem small, but I have faith that by the grace of the Lord, its results will be great in the life of many.. and I pray that the Holy Spirit will work in a special way, through this meditation, so that the dreams of many will come true, and He will convey what the loving heart of the Lord has for each one of us.

“When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126).

Yes.. The Lord is the fulfiller of dreams.. In this meditation I do not talk about the dreams that we see in our sleep or about their interpretation.. rather about matters that you long for, that you are going through, that you are praying and interceding for to see them come true in your life, but are still unfulfilled until today..

A deep sadness that doesn’t depart from your life?
Constant depression and failure?
Worry.. anxiety.. fears.. that are with you for years, have made your life difficult?
There is no real peace in your life.. and you cannot rejoice and enjoy your life?
Difficult and repetitive sins.. difficult bondages in several areas of your life, you have tried a lot but to no avail, so you surrendered to despair?
Low self-esteem.. guilt feelings.. feelings of rejection?
A constant or dangerous sickness threatens your life?
Poverty and financial hardships.. you work day and night, but there is no blessing?
You serve the Lord a lot but the fruits are little or inexistent?
And you can add to this list whatever you want of problems, hardships and difficulties...

This situation became difficult for you, and you dream that the day will come when you will come out of these sufferings, or that the day will come when you will fulfill your wishes and dreams..
In other words.. you consider that this being fulfilled, became as a dream that will never come true..
I say to you today: the Lord is the fulfiller of dreams.. and what He did to those people that the Psalm talks about, He will certainly do to you, He will even do exceedingly more, because we are in the New Testament, the better covenant as the word of God says..
The Psalm says: When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream!!!
They were not expecting this.. their return from captivity was like an illusion, this is why they thought they were dreaming, and not seeing reality..
But it was real, and they returned from captivity.. their mouth was filled with laughter and their tongue with singing, and they became joyful.. and the nations around them witnessed to that saying: The Lord has done great things for them..
They were like an excavation, i.e. like an arid and cracked land, but the streams of water came back to irrigate it again..
And this is what the Lord wants to do with each one of us without exceptions!!!

What did the Apostle Paul say in first Corinthians:
“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him”. (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Yes.. things that will never cross your mind, what you consider an illusion or as seeing a dream, this is what the Lord has prepared for you, and what He wants to accomplish for you today, if you have faith in Him and in His word, because He is watching over it to fulfill it..

And what does the Apostle Paul say also in the epistle to the Ephesians: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20).
In other words, what you think is an illusion or a huge dream.. the Lord is able and willing to fulfill for you today, for He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, while we were still sinners, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Which means that He who did not hold on to what is most precious to Him, His only Son, will He withhold from you something whatever it is?
“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).

The paralytic at the pool of Bethesda, was in this situation for 38 years, and of course his healing was like a dream that will never come true, nevertheless he persevered to come during all this time.. and the time came.. when the Son of Man came and asked him: Do you desire to be made whole? And then He said after that: take up your bed and walk.

Today He says to you:
Do you want to be made whole? Do you want to rejoice? Do you want to be set free? Do you want to see your dream, whatever it is, come true?
Don’t do like the paralytic at the pool of Bethesda when he said to the Lord: Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool to get healed..
Rather say only one word to Him: Yes..
And let Him fulfill all your desires, let Him heal you and deliver you from all you have suffered during many long years..
Exactly as the blind Bartimaeus when the Lord asked him: What do you desire that I should do to you?
The blind man said to Him: My Lord, that I may see again.. and his eyes were opened..

Two important things, that I want to examine with you, for our dreams to come true, and for our mouth to be filled with laughter and our tongues with singing..
Why those dreams we mentioned do not come true?
It is clear from the word of the Lord, and from the verses that we mentioned, that He wants to do exceedingly more than what we dream of, and what we need..
So the problem has to be within us, and this is what we will discuss together..

The first problem is in our personalities, and the flaws they have that stop us from coming to the Lord and asking Him boldly:
Low self-esteem.. feelings of rejection and unworthiness.. feelings of guilt.. listening to the lies of Satan, that the Lord will not listen to us because we are sinners, and because we didn’t do this or that, or because we didn’t get to the spiritual level which allows us to receive our requests, failure experiences, difficult childhood, if our parents were careless and didn’t grant us our requests, this was reflected in our relationship with the Lord, distorted beliefs and thoughts about the love of the Lord for us, maybe we think that the Lord will give us little, or that He will accomplish this matter but not all the others.. and so on and so forth of similar things.

Beloved, all these are deceptions from Satan, with the only aim to keep us deprived from everything the Lord has prepared for us..
His love is unconditional.. His gifts are unlimited.. and as I told you the One who gave you what was most precious to Him, His Son Jesus, how can he withhold from you things that are far less precious than the precious blood of the Lord?

Let us expose Satan’s lies today, and firmly rebuke them.. and trust in the Lord’s generosity, kindness, bounty, mercy and grace.. Let us come to Him and multiply our requests. Here is an expressive story from the word of the Lord:
“A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, ‘Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.’ So Elisha said to her, ‘What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ And she said, ‘Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.’ Then he said, ‘Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors –empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.’ So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, ‘Bring me another vessel.’ And he said to her, ‘There is not another vessel.’ So the oil ceased.” (2 Kings 4:1-6).
A poor woman, whose husband was indebted, and when he died, the creditors came to take back their money which she didn’t have, so they decided to take her sons as slaves..

The situation of many may be similar to this woman’s.. financial, psychological and spiritual poverty..
Being slaves to sins, bondages, and bad habits, to anxiety, worry, fear, sadness, and many other matters..
And Satan threatens us and is cruel with us..

But what did this woman do?
She went to the prophet of God, complained to him, and asked for his help..
And he helped her and solved her problem.. but there was a small detail I want to bring to your attention..
It is what we mentioned about the flaws in our personality, which doesn’t ask much from the Lord, and thinks that He gives little..
The prophet Elisha said to her a very very very important expression: Do not gather just a few..
Which means, borrow from your neighbors many vessels, because he knew his God’s generosity and love.. and as it seems he also knew the woman’s personality.. this is why he said to her: Do not gather just a few.
And if we continue reading the passage we would discover that when there were no more vessels the oil outpouring stopped..
And this is what happens with us.. we ask a little because we think that the Lord will give us a little and will not do more than this for us..
In the name of Jesus Christ, may He deliver us today by the power of the Holy Spirit from those lies, feelings, and wrong thoughts about the Lord, His love, generosity, and bounty toward us..
And I say to all of you like Elisha said to this woman: Do not gather just a few..
Rather ask much more than you would expect, because if you trust Him and have faith in His word that He sent specially for you today; the Lord will do for you that which will never cross your mind.

As to the second problem, which is closely linked to the first one, it can be summarized by us answering the following question:
On the account of whom do we ask from the Lord?
Is it on the account of what we do and offer to Him?
Or is it on the account of what we deserve?
Or is it on the basis of what our thoughts and tired personalities dictate us?
Or is it on the account of what the Lord has done.. which is on the account of the precious blood?

The word of the Lord says:
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price… Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”
(Isaiah 55:1-2).
We all thirst for many things that we want to see come true in our life.. and all of us are indigent and do not have the solutions.. but the Lord has the solution, and He says to us:
“Come take all you need.. without any price.. without silver.. eat what you desire and may you enjoy the fat.. I paid the price for you.. just come and take, and listen carefully to me in order to see all your dreams come true.”
This is the Lord’s message for us today..

And now.. what is the thing or things that will make you think you are dreaming if they come true, and you will say: no, this is not possible.. You have waited so long to see these things being accomplished, and lost hope to see them come true?
Put them now at the Lord’s feet, and say to Him: you are the fulfiller of dreams.. and let Him fulfill them for you, so that your mouth is filled with laughter and your tongue with singing, and you become joyful, loving life again, and all those around you shall say:

The Lord has done great things for him.. and you go and witness what the Lord has done for you.. to Him all the glory.
