Looking back over the past few weeks, many will have certainly noticed the erratic weather. From hot and sunny days to gloomy rainy days – back and forth. Here comes the icing on summer 2013.
According to the French weather channel Metèo, there is a 70% probability that summer will be completely absent this year, and that not only in Spain but in the whole Western Europe, which would make it the coldest and most humid summer since 1816.
The summer of 1816 is known as the ‘year without summer’ and also the ‘year of poverty’.
Heatwaves are expected, but of very short duration which will also cause strong storms during July and August. The weather is expected to improve for September and October.
