According to the New Testament, Pontius Pilate during the trial three times, refused to betray Jesus Christ’s death, which was interested in the council, headed by the High Priest Caiaphas.

As the Bible tells us the Pilate did not want Jesus ‘death and he refused it three times but when the council insisted that Jesus’ death and threatened to revolt the Pilate “took water and washed his hands before the multitude,” is an ancient custom of the Jews which is a symbol of innocence, the shedding of blood, Pilate as his wife until the very end were against the crucifixion of Jesus but the council has made his own.
Name of Pilate, one of the few names referred to in the Christian Creed, “And in one Lord Jesus Christ … was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried.” According to popular theological interpretation, the words “under Pontius Pilate” – a reference to a specific date, that the earthly life of Christ has become a fact of human history.
The Pilate Court in which Jesus was subjected to torture and then Pilate again tried to save Jesus’ life but it was hopeless because of the high priests and the crowd was introduced in the number of Christ’s Passion.
