 Pope Shenouda III It suffices to comment on the Lord's miracles of raising the dead by quoting His words: "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will" (Jn. 5:21). Here there is equality of the Son with the Father and in addition, He made the giving of life dependent on His will.
