The Lord Jesus Christ was called 'The Word' in three important places:
(A) (Jn. 1: 1): "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." In this verse the reference to Christ's Divinity is very clear.
(B) (lJn.5:7): "For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." Here also, the Divinity of Christ is clear. The term "the Word" in the above verse is in place of "the Son" in (Matt. 28:19).
(C) (Rev. 19:13): "He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."
