  تأملات في الميلاد المجيد أتى المسيح لينوب عن البشرية  إنه ناب عنا في دفع ثمن الخطية، في الموت، فمات عنا. ولكن هذا لم يكن هو الشيء الوحيد الذي ناب عنا فيه. بل أنه ناب عنا في كل عمل صالح، في تكميل الناموس كله... فاختتن وهو غير محتاج إلى الختان، وصام وهو غير محتاج إلى الصوم، واعتمد وهو غير محتاج إلى عماد، وهكذا دواليك. ولعل نيابة الرب عن الإنسان هي التي جعلته يسمي نفسه في أحيان كثيرة "ابن الإنسان"، مشيرًا إلى أنه جاء نائبًا عن الإنسان أو نائبًا عن البشرية فهو ليس ابن فلان من الناس، وإنما هو ابن الإنسان عمومًا. وقد ناب عن الإنسان في موته وفي حياته وفي كل ما كان مطلوبًا منه... ولنبدأ أولًا بموضوع العماد، كمثال... ذهب السيد المسيح إلى يوحنا ليعتمد منه. ولكنه بلا شك لم يكن محتاجًا مطلقًا إلى العماد. معمودية يوحنا كانت للتوبة، والتوبة عمل يقوم به الخطاة وليس الأبرار. ويسوع المسيح القدوس البار، الذي هو وحده بلا خطية، لم يكن محتاجًا إلى التوبة، وبالتالي لم يكن محتاجًا إلى معمودية يوحنا. كان يوحنا صوتًا صارخًا في البرية ينادي: "توبوا لأنه قد أقترب ملكوت السموات" (مت3: 2) "اصنعوا ثمارًا تليق بالتوبة" "كل شجرة لا تصنع ثمرًا جيدًا تقطع وتلقي في النار". وهذا الصوت لم يكن بأي حال موجهًا إلى السيد المسيح، الذي اعترف له يوحنا قائلًا: "أنا محتاج إلى أن أعتمد منك" (مت3 : 14) ويوحنا كان يأتي إليه ليعتمدوا "معترفين بخطاياهم" (مت3 : 6) والسيد المسيح لم تكن له خطية يعترف بها... فمادام لم يكن محتاجًا إلى التوبة، ولا إلى المعمودية، فلماذا ذهب إلى يوحنا ؟ ولماذا اعتمد ؟ لقد فعل ذلك "ليكمل كل بر"، لينوب عنا في إطاعة الناموس. إن البشرية فشلت في إرضاء الله الآب، فجاء الابن يرضيه : "ابن الإنسان" وقد وقف كاملًا أمامه... فناب عنا في تقديم هذه التوبة... كما سينوب عنا في آخر الزمان في تقديم خضوع البشرية للآب. وهكذا يقول الرسول: "ومتى أخضع له الكل، حينئذ الابن أيضًا سيخضع للذي أخضع له الكل" (1كو15: 28) إن الخطية كانت لها نتيجتان: هلاك الإنسان، واغتصاب قلب الله. وجاء السيد المسيح ليصلح الأمرين معًا: جاء ليخلص الإنسان الهالك، إذ ناب عنا في الموت وفي دفع ثمن الخطية. وجاء ليصالح قلب الله الغاضب بأن يقدم له ناسوتًا كاملًا يرضيه، وهكذا ناب عنا في تكميل الناموس وفي كل عمل صالح. قام بالعملين معًا: أرضي قلب الله بحياته الطاهرة، وأنقذ حياة الإنسان، بموته الكفاري. وكما ناب السيد المسيح عن البشرية في التوبة والعماد وتكميل الناموس، ناب عنها أيضًا في الصوم. لم يستطيع الإنسان أن يكبح جماح جسده، فأكل من طعام نهي الله عنه، فسقط. وجاء السيد المسيح ليصلح هذا الخطأ، فبدأ خدمته بالصوم حتى عن الطعام المحلل للجميع. نحن نصوم لنروض الجسد ونلجمه ونربيه. أما جسد السيد المسيح فلم يكن جامحًا حتى يكبح جماحه، فلماذا إذن صام ؟ ونحن نصوم لكي تصفو الروح وتسمو. وروح السيد المسيح في صفائها وسموها ليست في حاجة إلى صوم يوصلها إلى العلو الذي توجد فيه بطبيعتها. إذن لماذا صام ؟ لقد صام عنا، أربعين يومًا وأربعين ليلة. وفي ذلك الصوم قدم لله الآب نيابة عنا جسدًا طاهرًا لا يخضع لشهوة طعام، استطاع أن يبرهن عمليًا على أنه: "ليس بالخبز وحده يحيا الإنسان" (مت4: 4) لقد ناب السيد المسيح عنا في تقديمه للآب صورة الإنسان الكامل المطيع لوصاياه، وفي نفس الوقت قدم للبشرية الصورة الإلهية التي خلقوا على مثالها. لقداسة البابا شنودهالثالث Reflections on the glorious birth Christ came to repent from humanity It is a spring from us in paying the price of sin, in death, and died for us. Let's begin with the subject of Baptism, as an example ... Jesus went to John to be baptized. But he certainly did not need the baptism at all. The baptism of John was for repentance, and repentance was the work of sinners, not of the righteous. Jesus Christ, the righteous and the righteous, alone without sin, did not need repentance, and therefore did not need the baptism of John.John was a loud voice in the wilderness calling out, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near" (Matthew 3: 2) "Make fruit worthy of repentance." "Every tree that does not make good fruit is cut off and thrown into the fire." This voice was in no way directed to Jesus, whom John confessed to him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you" (Matthew 3:14) And John came to Him to be baptized "confessing their sins" (Matthew 3: 6) Jesus had no sin to confess ... As long as he did not need repentance, or baptism, why did he go to John? Why was it adopted? He did this "to complete all righteousness", to repent to us in obedience to the law. Humanity failed to please God the Father, and the Son came to his satisfaction: "Son of man" and stood before Him in full ... We repent of us in offering this repentance ... As we will repent at the end of time in the submission of humankind to the Father. Thus the apostle says: "When all things are subject to him, then the Son will also be subject to the one who has subjected him to all" (1 Cor 15:28) Sin had two consequences: the loss of man, and the rape of the heart of God. Jesus came to reconcile the two things together: He came to save the lost man, as he died from us in death, and in paying the price of sin. And came to reconcile the heart of the angry God to give him a full Nassrta satisfy him, And thus we are able to complete the Law and all good works. He did the two works together: He blessed the heart of God with His pure life, and saved the life of man, by His death and atonement. Just as Christ was about humanity in repentance, baptism, and completion of the law, it also resulted in fasting. A person can not restrain his body, so he ate food that Allaah forbade, and he fell.Jesus came to correct this error, and he began his service by fasting, even for the food of the analyst. We are fasting for the torso of the body and its stars and prophets. The body of Christ was not so strong as to restrain him, so why did he fast? And we fast to cleanse the soul and grow. The spirit of Christ in her serenity and name does not need a fast that leads her to the height where she is by nature. So why did he fast? He fasted for us, forty days and forty nights. In that fast, God gave the Father, on our behalf, a pure body that was not subject to the lust of food, which he was able to demonstrate in practice: "Man lives not by bread alone" (Matt 4: 4) Christ gave us the gift of presenting the Father with the image of the perfect and obedient human being, and at the same time presenting to humanity the divine image created in its example.
