 Pope Shenouda III God blessed the condition of hunger, saying: “Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled.” (Luke 6:11). If Lazarus’s hunger qualified him to embrace our Father Abraham for his share of trouble on earth though it had not been of his own free will, how much more grace will God give to those in eternity who willingly hunger ascetically seeking Him.
