To the King's table.. not under it

" Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying: Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed. But He answered her not a word… Then she came and worshiped Him, saying: Lord, help me! But He answered and said: It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs. And she said: Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said to her: O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire. And her daughter was healed from that very hour " (Matthew 15 : 21 – 28).

Great is your faith..
This was the Lord’s reaction to what the Canaanite woman said.. she had faith:
That even the crumbs falling from her masters’ table is enough to heal her son.. and she got her request answered from the Lord.
But this is not the subject of our devotion today, what we want to meditate on is.. that almost all of us are still eating from the crumbles falling from our masters’ table.. or from those whom we’ve appointed as our masters !!!

A Canaanite woman from the region of Sidon and Tyre, from our country..
Canaan is Noah’s son who had sinned against his father by looking at his nakedness and told his brothers about it, and when his father knew about it he said to him:
" Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren " (Genesis 9 : 25).
A curse of rejection and slavery came and controlled Canaan and his descendants after him..
How hard this feeling is on man..
He will never see himself worthy of sitting on a table, but always under it, seeking to eat the crumbles falling from it..
It we go back to the garden of Eden and to what Adam and Eve did with God, the result they reaped, we would discover the roots of rejection, which Satan had planted inside of Adam and Eve and through them in all mankind:
" Therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man… ".
(Genesis 3 : 23 – 24).
Exile.. Casting out from God’s presence.. and the result is rejection..
If each one of us today let the Holy Spirit examine his innermost being, we will find out that we all have rejection inside of us, with different levels..
And this rejection controls most of our behavior, not to say all of it, it controls our reaction toward God in the first place and our relation with Him, it controls our relations with each other.. and the results are destructive.. and the one in favor is Satan.. but not anymore in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“It is done” the lord said it on the cross..
Total salvation.. from all the results of the fall.. from all curses..
The Lord took upon himself these results so we don’t carry them on ourselves..
He was rejected.. by His brothers and close ones.. he came to His own and His own rejected Him..
All His disciples left Him and fled away.. and when He was on the cross carrying the sins of all man.. the Heavenly Father left him that moment.. this is what the Lord Himself said: " And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying: Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is: My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? " (Matthew 27 : 46).
The Lord was subject to the most hard, harsh and deep rejection ever, for this reason he is not:
" … who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin " (Hebrews 4 : 15).
No matter what are the reasons that make you feel rejected:
A tortured or deformed childhood, rejection from the parents, from friends, from teachers at school, a low educational or financial level, a failed marriage, betrayal from your loved ones, disappointment even from God, failure in what you do, harming words that you were or are subject to, problems that you face, the rejection of all those around you… etc.
The Lord understands your situation.. He faced situations harder than yours..
Come to Him and let Him heal you, let him cure your wounds.. He is waiting for you compassionately with opened arms.
On the cross He became a curse for you in order to take away your curse, and transformed it into a blessing: " Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written: Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus… " (Galatians 3 : 13 – 14).
He redeemed us from the curse.. by becoming a curse, and transforming it into a blessing.
What was the result?
To the king’s table.. not under it.
To the delicious fat food.. not to the crumbles falling form the masters’ table !!!
I don’t know how hard are the roots of rejection that you have, I don’t know how hard are the years of slavery and low self esteem , I don’t know how you look at yourself, but what I care about today is to tell you how God looks at you, and to ask the Holy Spirit to remove these feelings from you and to put instead your new place in the Lord and His thoughts toward you: " He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap. That He may seat him with princes - With the princes of His people " (Psalms 113 : 7 – 8).

" But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light " (1 Peter 2 : 9).

" But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ… Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God ". (Ephesians 2 : 13, 19).

" … and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me " (John 17 : 23).

" … and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me " (John 17 : 23).
God’s word doesn’t deny the hard reality we live before knowing the Lord and become one of His children, but it changes it:
We were sitting on dust, desperate, feeling thrown in garbage, away from God..
But the good news is that it tells us what we’ve become:
Honored ones.. a chosen generation.. kings.. priests.. a holy nation.. His own special people.. God’s children..
And the golden word is: the Father loves us as He Loves Jesus !!!

Now.. please cry out from your most inner being to the Holy Spirit to put these words deep inside of you and make them heal you, deliver you, taking away all low self esteem, all feelings of rejection, humiliation and slavery.. and lead you to your new place.. so you can sit with the Lord side by side at His table, and eat from all the desired food He prepared for you.. and stop eating or seeking the crumbles falling from a table you should be the honored master sitting on it !!!

Few days before His death the Lord said to His disciples while sitting to eat the last supper with them:
" … With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer " (Luke 22 : 15).

There is no other sentence that can describe the love of the Lord to us better than " With fervent desire I have desired ".
Today He is " fervently desiring " you to sit with Him at His table.. and stop eating the crumbles falling from it.
This from one side.. but we have another important side beloveds, to which we aim by moving from being under the table to be sitting at the King’s table, and by stopping being fed by the crumbles to be fed by the solid food, and the writer of the Hebrew letter says: " For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil " (Hebrews 5 : 12 – 14).

Beloveds: the war raging against us is not a walk nor easy at all, and if we don’t fight well we will be harmed and won’t be able to fulfill our mission, and the war is getting harder these days which everybody agrees that they might be the last days before the second coming of the Lord.. and the crumbles, the milk and sitting under the table, can’t determine such wars.. but it is the solid food, the experience, and the discernment between good and evil and what is going on around us, and the daily meeting with the Leader of the campaign the Lord Jesus.. which are the only things that can determine these wars.. we need wisdom from above, and discernment by the Holy Spirit, we need the revelations of the Holy Spirit, the visions the dreams the prophecies and a double portion of power, so we can discourage and destroy the plans of Satan and break his alliances, and demolish his organized armies and kingdoms.. and if we don’t sit daily to the King and Leader’s table to take His directions, we won’t be able to succeed, on the contrary we will fail on a personal level and on the level of conquering the land and entering the house of the mighty to bind him, and then deliver the captives and steal the spoils..
So when will we?

The thoughts, the expectations, and the plans of the prodigal son don’t work for such battle:
" I have sinned against heaven and to you and I am not worthy to be called your son.. make me one of you maids ".

But the loving father who knows at the same time the needs of the battle said:
" Take the first garment and put it on him, put a ring in his hand, shoes in his feet, and bring out that fattened calf and slain it so we can eat and rejoice ".

The first garment not any garment, the clothes of the king himself, the clothes of the Lord of Hosts, the clothes of war.. the ring of the king and emperor.. the solid shoes so our feet don’t get hurt from the hard and rigid ground, and the fattened calf, the meat the food of the adults and the strong, not the milk nor the crumbles falling from the table..

The Lord said to Jeremiah:
" Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know " (Jeremiah 33 : 3).

Ask the Lord for a higher level of revelations, directions and heavenly wisdom, so He might answer you revealing to you the secrets and the necessary strategies, that are able to determine strong violent wars..

Paul, due to the importance of the matter, said it three times in one letter:
" But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way… Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy… Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel ".
(1 Corinthians 12 : 31, 14 : 1, 12).

Desire spiritual gifts, be zealous to get them for the edification of the church, for the preparation of God’s people, for the readiness to be involved and winning all kinds of battles, for the church to be able to conquer the kingdom of darkness and the gates of hell don’t prevail against it:
word of wisdom; word of knowledge; faith; gifts of healing; working of miracles; prophecy; discerning of spirits; divers kinds of tongues; interpretation of tongues..
we need all these Gifts.. divided to every man severally as the Holy Spirit will.

Beloveds: it is time to rise from being under the table to sit on it with the king, so he can heal us and cure our wounds, and feed us with His fat strong food, and stop all dependence we have on the crumbles falling from the table, it is time to sit with Him daily, knowing deep inside who we are in Him: kings.. priests, His mighty warriors, the ones He is pleased to have as agents for His work, and when we realize that, we can ask him with thirst hunger and seriousness to give us the gifts of His Spirit and His directions, power and sword, to win battles, and discourage the plans and schemes of Satan, to tie him and enter his house, delivering the captives and stealing the spoils..

So let us standup now without any delay, and let’s sit at the king’s table.. not under it.
