The relation between Christ's Sonship to the Godhead is also mentioned in the Book of Proverbs, which says: "Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name and what is His Son's name, if you know?" (Prov. 30:9) Here, the Scripture does not refer to an ordinary son of God's children but an Only Son, distinguished from all others because He is of the same Nature and Essence with God.
