 Pope Shenouda III The Holy Bible is full of examples of confessions. Confession continued until the last prophet of the Old Testament or the time between the Old Testament and the New Testament, the time of John the Baptist, when “Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptised by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins” (Matt.3: 5,6).
