وأصنع احساناً الي الوف من محبي



وحافظـي وصاياي

خـر 20: 6

But showing mercy to thousands,


to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
(Ex. 20: 6)

من يكرم الله إنما يفعل هذا لخلاصه


ولعظم نفعه؛ كيف؟


لأنه يتبع الفضيلة ومن ثم يمجد من الله


لأنه يقول-اكرم الذين يكرمونني

القديس يوحنا ذهبي الفم

He who admires and honors God does so to his own salvation,


and highest benefit; and how?


Because he follows after virtue,


and is honored by Him.


For ?them that honor Me,? He says, ?I will honor.?
