Pope Shenouda III Gehazi the disciple of Elisha was afraid when he saw the enemies surrounding the city, but Elisha, the man with opened eyes saw the angels defending the it against the enemy. He comforted his disciple by saying "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them" (2 Kin 6:16). Elisha prayed that God would open the eyes of Gehazi to see and the conviction in unseen matters. |
