And Leading Them.. Little Benjamin

An encouraging letter from the Lord to each one of us today.. because He is the God of every encouragement and comfort.
He wants us to be always ascending, heads not tails, stepping on our high places, progressing from glory to glory and from strength to strength.. He wants today to heal our diseases.. all our diseases, especially the psychological ones.. He wants to make the mountains in front of you disappear, to flatten the hills that are blocking your way, to elevate every valley in your life.. and to make the distorted places straight:
“Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth” (Isaiah 40:4).
He wants you to be in the lead.. after Satan has succeeded to make you walk in the rear end..

Let this verse penetrate your inner being while we meditate together:
“There is little Benjamin, their leader, The princes of Judah and their company, The princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.” (Psalm 68:27).
Notice with me the accuracy of the Holy Spirit: There is little Benjamin, their leader.. and behind him come all the princes.

Beloved: among the most dangerous matters opposing us in our life, especially our spiritual life, is the disease or bondage of low self-esteem. There isn’t any personality that is free from the symptoms of this disease even if the ratios vary, some acknowledge it while others deny it.. What is more dangerous is that the appearance of the symptoms of this disease are various, hence some live this disease like it is, they feel they are less important than others, they don’t see that they can be with adults in status and may be even in age, they feel they cannot execute great things or even small ones, most of the time they feel self pity, they feel they don’t deserve to get anyone’s attention, even the Lord’s, they feel that the Lord may do miracles for everyone, but not specifically for them, and here I am not talking about humbleness, for the difference between the humility that we must adorn ourselves with and low self-esteem is vast and great..

While others in an effort to compensate for low self-esteem become controlling, and their control is greatly destructive. The head of the family who suffers from low self-esteem will dominate his family, and if his wife is successful in life and has an important position, he will try to control her to hide his low self-esteem; and the employer or the principal who suffers from low self-esteem will hide this disease by dominating his colleagues or employees..

This is why the word of the Lord says in Proverbs:
“For three things the earth is perturbed, Yes, for four it cannot bear up: For a servant when he reigns… And a maidservant who succeeds her mistress”.
(Proverbs 30:21-23).
A servant when he reigns.. and a maidservant, that is, a slave girl, who succeeds her mistress..
Most assuredly, the Lord doesn’t hate nor despises the servant and the slave girl, for He loves them as much as He loves the king and the master..
Nevertheless, what the Holy Spirit wants to point at here, is that both the servant and the slave girl have low self-esteem, due to their social position and to slavery, and as we have already explained, whenever they arrive to power or to their master’s position while carrying inside of them low self-esteem, most certainly the earth under them will be perturbed.. because of the destruction they can bring through their domination and love of control, in order to hide their feeling of inferiority..
Now, if we revise our calculations in the light of what we’ve read so far, we will all realize that we suffer from this disease or from its symptoms..
However, it is more important today through the Holy Spirit’s explanation of this critical subject that we don’t just stand there, rather the objective is to be healed from it, and to live with the freedom of God’s children..

King Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin, and when Samuel the prophet met him, simply because he invited him to come and eat with him said:
“… Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?”
(1 Samuel 9:21).

As to when they decided to anoint him king, read with me what has happened:
“Therefore they inquired of the Lord further, ‘Has the man come here yet?’ And the Lord answered, ‘There he is, hidden among the equipment’” (1 Samuel 10:22).

Did you notice what low self-esteem can do?
All his speech: the smallest.. the least..
He didn’t see that he deserved to be invited by the prophet to his table, how much more to be crowned king?
He ran away and hid among the equipment like a little child.. He saw himself from the smallest tribe and from the least of all the families; he had the bondage of low self-esteem that made him behave the way we read about, and if we meditate through the pages of the Bible on the conduct of Saul when he reigned on God’s people, we will discover how low self-esteem controlled the way he ruled over the people. Maybe the clearest of those examples is his dealing with David, and how he wanted to kill him because he was more successful than him:
“So the women sang as they danced, and said: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands.’ Then Saul was very angry, and the saying displeased him; and he said, ‘They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed only thousands. Now what more can he have but the kingdom?’ So Saul eyed David from that day forward” (1 Samuel 18:7-9).
The bondage went into action.. and Saul saw himself smaller than David, so he was filled with jealousy and he spent all his reign chasing David to kill him..
How dangerous is this disease dear beloved..

Let us move on now to the section that is of most importance: The Remedy.
The Lord wants to heal you today from low self-esteem..
First of all because He loves you, and He knows exactly the cruelty of this bondage on your personality and on your life as a whole, He feels with you, and He notices you. Secondly, so that you don’t hurt others in the sphere of the family, the work, the friends and the ministry..
The Lord says to Benjamin: you are the little one.. but I will make you walk in the lead.. and all the princes behind you..
So who is Benjamin?
He is the youngest of Jacob’s children.. the last son to whom Rachel gave birth, and the word relates to us the following about the circumstances of his birth:
“Then they journeyed from Bethel. And when there was but a little distance to go to Ephrath, Rachel labored in childbirth, and she had hard labor. Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, ‘Do not fear; you will have this son also.’ And so it was as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni (which means: Son of My Sorrow); but his father called him Benjamin (which means: Son of the Right Hand, the son dear to my heart, or the son who is supporting me). So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem)” (Genesis 35:16-19).

She wanted to call him “Son of My Sorrow”, for she died due to his birth, as to Jacob he refused this and called him “Son of the Right Hand, the son dear to my heart, or the son who is supporting me”.
And these words carry deep meanings for each one of us today..
As I believe, Benjamin was aware of this story when he grew up.. he knew that he caused his mother to die.. and that she wanted to name him Ben-Oni or Son of Sorrow.. Furthermore, he is the youngest son.. All these things added up together and made the matter more complicated.. So what did his personality turn into? Low self-esteem.. Feeling of guilt..

How many persons were subject in their childhood to similar incidents, it might not be exactly similar to this incident, but somehow close to it.. How many hurtful and insulting terms and words were we exposed to from our parents: “I wish you were not born, you came and you brought problems with you, I wish you were a boy… etc.), and words from relatives, from teachers, from employers.. and how many persons were accused of other people’s misery or their exposure to problems because of them.. or they were accused of other people’s failure or the failure of projects or other similar matters.

It is not by coincidence that you’re reading this message.. for the Lord has a great purpose for you through this.. He wants to say to you: “It is all right if you are little.. in age or maybe in standing.. It’s all right if they said to you hurtful and insulting terms and words or if they made you responsible for certain matters happening.. and if they still consider you “Ben-Oni.. Son of Sorrow”, but today I want you to know that I don’t see you that way, rather the name that I have written for you is “Benjamin.. Son of the Right Hand.. Dear to My Heart.. the son who is supporting me” allow me to heal you today.. to wipe away your tears.. to uproot low self-esteem, feeling of guilt and failure from within you.. Little Benjamin you will be in the lead and everyone will walk behind you”.
Yes, dear beloved this is the word of the Lord for us today..

And at the place where this incident happened, the way to Ephrath that is Bethlehem as written in the passage we are studying, the place where Rachel died, the place where she wanted to call her son “Son of Sorrow”, and when the fullness of time came.. Read with me what the word of God says:
“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel (i.e. the Lord Jesus)” (Matthew 2:6).

At the place of death and sorrow.. In the city that was called the least.. was born the King of Glory, the Lord Jesus Christ.. to say to everyone through the ages.. and to say to you today.. I, the King of kings, was born there to change the names.. to change history.. your history.. for I am not interested in the cities and I don’t care about the stones but you are of interest to me.. So if you were the least, forsaken, son of sorrow and distress, and if your days were full of failure experiences and feelings of inferiority and rejection.. you become the greatest, accepted, dear to My heart, supporting Me, and the one who will be in the lead.. To our God be all the glory..

Is it possible that I experience all this in my life?
Yes, most certainly.. for the possibilities of success and deliverance from this bondage are not from you but from the Lord, and those who were the least and became the greatest and successful, did not succeed due to their abilities.. but because they relied upon the Lord who is able to heal them, release them and change their names.. and this is what He wants to do with you today.
God chose little David, a sheep shepherd, from among all his brothers and anointed him king and made all his ways successful..
And when they talk about Samson in society and in the stories, they describe him as being the hero of heroes, however this is far from being true, the power was not from him but from the Lord, for when he confronted the lion, the word of the Lord reports specifically: that he didn’t have anything in his hands to kill the lion with. In order to confirm to us that it is not with his own power that he killed the lion, the word of God says: the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him:
“So Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother, and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand…” (Judges 14:5-6).

Yes, this is how the least becomes great.. he walks in the lead.. when we come with this disease and bondage to the Lord, then the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us mightily and changes everything..
Also from the word of God:
“And the Lord said to her: ‘Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.’” (Genesis 25:23).

“This is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning him: ‘The virgin, the daughter of Zion, Has despised you, laughed you to scorn…’” (Isaiah 37:22).

The younger shall dominate the older.. and the weak and despised virgin at that time, will mock Satan and despise him and all his hostilities and powers..
So who is the greater that is opposing you today?
What are the mountains and obstacles that hinders your joy, peace, enjoyment, progression and success.. Yes what are they?
Say to them all: The younger shall dominate the older.. And the older shall serve the younger.. don’t hide the reality you are living.. for concealing the reality will not change the matter and will not deliver you from what you are a victim of.. rather confess this reality and bring it to the Lord saying: yes, I am the least.. But.. My God was born in Bethlehem which was the least among the cities to make it great.. and even the greatest.. Nevertheless, He was born especially for me to make me the greatest.. little I dominate on all that seems big for me.. little I walk in the lead like Benjamin, and behind me come all that was controlling me.. little among a multitude, but my God anointed me king, the son of the King of kings.. little and maybe Son of Sorrow.. but my God changed my name, He refused that I be called this way.. rather He named me Benjamin.. Son of His Right Hand.. Much Dear to His Heart.. the Son who is supporting Him, the one who fulfills His will on this earth..
Yes, refuse to stay the way you are.. refuse to stay in bondage to low self-esteem.. wounded, sad and hurting others..

Rather, you will be from now on: Little Benjamin their leader!!!
