How to go deeper into yourself
There comes a time when God illuminates you to say: “Dear God, how can I thank you enough? I’d never had such a thing in mind. If it was up to me, I would never have come to realize what state I am in! I am thankful and grateful to you for helping me see the state I am in, for disclosing and revealing my own self, whom I wasn’t aware of, to me”.
This is how you become eager to go deeper into yourself and see even more of your selfishness.
You can’t walk the road of salvation, unless you fight the good fight very specifically every day; un- less you act in compliance with Christ’s commands and God’s will.
Giving yourself over to Christ and His will, brings rest to the soul. You’re full of stress, because what you want doesn’t happen.
