 Pope Shenouda III The incident of the Transfiguration is an example of God's presence in clouds. It is written that while the Lord Jesus Christ was talking to the three disciples, “a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!’ ” (Lk.9: 34,35)
