My child to change your life it means that you change the focus of your “nous”, which is the strongest power of your soul, towards Him. This is exactly what He meant with “Love your God with all your power and all your strength”. This is what is called Metanoia. Living in Metanoia is really how you change your life. Change your life doesn’t mean that you shed some tears, say a few I am sorry, and go for Confession. It is a change in how you live. You change the focus of your nous towards Him and away from earthly materialistic things. All your being is towards Him and this is why the Jesus Prayer, “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me the sinner”, and its continuous repetition helps you towards this direction.
