The Floods Came
Floods symbolize major disasters such as the loss of a loved one or painful sins like betrayal, which can destroy a person’s life. However, when a wise person faces calamities, they do not lose faith but endure the trial: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (Psalm 46:1–2)
