I will lead her into the wilderness and speak

Hosea 2:14

"Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her."

Reflection: In this prophetic passage, God uses the imagery of leading His people into the wilderness, a place of isolation and loneliness, to speak tenderly to them. Loneliness can be a setting where God draws us closer to Himself and reveals His love and tenderness.
