والرب سائر امامك. هو يكون معك

لا يهملك ولا يتركك

لا تخف ولا ترتعب

تث 31: 8

And the LORD,

He is the One who goes before you.

He will be with you,

He will not leave you nor forsake you;

do not fear nor be dismayed.”

(Deu. 31: 8)

ليتنا نقدّم لله التشكّرات على الدوام

فنجعلها تسبق كلماتنا وأعمالنا

القديس يوحنا ذهبي الفم

Let us therefore

give Him thanks continually,

and let this precede both

our words and our works.

طلبت الى الرب فاستجاب لي

ومن كل مخاوفي انقذني
مز 34: 4


I sought the LORD,


and He heard me,


and delivered me from all my fears.


(Ps. 34: 4)

إن داومت السؤال فإنك ستأخذ بالتأكيد


حتى وإن لم يكن في الحال.... إنه لا يعطيك فورًا


حتى تداوم على السؤال. إذن لتستمر في السؤال


والطلب فبالتأكيد ستأخذ

القدّيس يوحنا ذهبي الفم



And if you continue asking,


though you receive not at once,


you surely will receive… to this end


He does not straightway assent,


that you may ask. Continue then to do these things,


and you will surely receive.

يمينك يا رب معتزة بالقدرة



يمينك يا رب تحطم العدو


خر15: 6


Your right hand, O LORD,


has become glorious in power;


Your right hand, O LORD,


has dashed the enemy in pieces.


(Ex. 15: 6)

إذ يعوقنا الشيطان عن طاعة مشيئة الله


بأفكارنا وأعمالنا في كل شيء


لهذا نصلّي ونطلب أن تتم مشيئة الله فينا


ولكي يتحقّق ذلك نحن في حاجة إلى إرادته الصالحة


أي معونته وحمايته


إذ ليس لأحد القدرة من ذاته على ذلك

القدّيس كبريانوس




But since we are hindered by the devil


from obeying with our thought


and deed God’s will in all things,


we pray and ask


that God’s will may be done in us;


and that it may be done in us


we have need of God’s good will,


that is, of His help and protection,


since no one is strong in his own strength,


but he is safe by the grace and mercy of God.
