In St. Paul the Apostle discourse about Christ being "the image of the invisible God' (Col. 1:15), he said: "All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist" (Col. 1: 16,17). Therefore Christ was before all things. Why? Because through Him all things were created.
