1945 - تقسيم كوريا إلى شطرين شمالي وجنوبي.
1945 - إنشاء البنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي.
1949 - إعلان استقلال إندونيسيا عن هولندا.
2007 - اغتيال بينظير بوتو رئيسة وزراء باكستان السابقة بالرصاص وتبعه تفجير إنتحاري.
