This way we pay back for our sins
It is not necessary for us to give excuses. Whether we are wrong or not, we should ask for forgiveness. That way, we are humbled and we receive our Lord’s grace. If we are falsely accused, let us endure injustice with joy, this way we pay back for our sins.
Pride and ego darken our mind and make us put the blame on others. A man of pride feels he only has rights. While the humble person always says good things about everyone else and only criticizes himself.
Obedience to our spiritual father is the safe path that leads to freedom and humility.
