هذا الراهب اللطيف، ابونا كيرلس، في دير ابو مقار ، اعطي لنا جولة في الدير،
وفي خلال الجولة كان من الواضح ان تعرف انه مهندس! فقط انظر كيف يشرح اشياء واضحة مثل بناء القباب.
وبعد فترة سألته عن عمله السابق قبل الرهبنة..
نعم.. لقد كان مهندسا بل عاش اعواما كثيرة في لندن!
التي عمل بها كمصرفي في البنك الالماني بعدها اصبح مستثمر في شركة اوراسكوم ..
لا ... الرهبان لا يذهبوا للدير للهروب من الفقر 🙂

This kind monk, Abouna Kirollos, in the Monastery of Anba Maqaar, gave us a short tour of the monastery. During the tour it became clear that he was an engineer - just how he explained certain things like the construction of certain domes.

No, monks do not join the monastery to escape from poverty 🙂 He wanted to get to know the Lord Jesus Christ better. That was his main reason.
