في كتابه " فجر الضمير "
...قال :"إن أعظم ظاهرة أساسية في تقدم حياة الإنسان هي نشوء المبادئ الخلقية وظهور عنصر الأخلاق.
لقد ولد فجر الضمير وسطع فوق أرض مصر،
وما لبث حتي خرج نوره إلي جميع البقاع
علي الكوكب الأرضي،
ليشعر الإنسان علي ضوئه،
لأول مرة في التاريخ، بمعني إنسانيته،
معني كونه إنساناً
ينتمي إلي جنس من المخلوقات ينبغي تكريمه
ينهض بأعظم مهمة، هي تعمير هذا الكوكب وتنويره"
هذه هي مصر
امة عظيمة
أول من عرفت قيمة الإنسان
فكانت الفارق بين الهمجية الحيوانية
و الحضارة الانسانية
