عاموس، نبيٌّ في العهد القديم،
معروفٌ بدوره كشفيعٍ، لا سيما في سفر عاموس،
حيث يتوسل إلى الله أن ينقذ إسرائيل من دينونةٍ وشيكة
. ورغم أن شفاعة عاموس كانت في الأساس نبيَّ هلاك،
إلا أنها تُسلِّط الضوء على رحمة الله وإمكانية التوبة والرجوع.
Amos, a prophet in the Old Testament,
is known for his role as an intercessor, particularly in the book of Amos,
where he pleads with God to spare Israel from impending judgment. While primarily a prophet of doom, Amos's intercession highlights God's mercy and the possibility of repentance and restoration.
