Christ the Lord said of Himself that He is the Giver of eternal life. He said: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And 1 give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand' (Jn. 10:27,28). Observe here the phrase "I give them".
